Hershel Myers, 58, of Crossville, TN, died on Thursday December 27, 2012. 

He was avid outdoorsman, loved horses, and enjoyed squirrel hunting. 

Hershel was preceded in death by his parents, George and Maggie Myers; and a brother, Wayne Myers. 

He is survived by his son, Shannon (Jessica) Myers; a daughter, Mekisha (Tim) Bolin; grandchildren, Kayleigh Bolin, Brody Myers, Kolton Myers, Amy Brewer, Renee Brewer, Alexis Brewer and Jody Wyatt; sister, Sandra Myers; sister-in-law, Helen Myers; nieces, Sandra Watson and Amanda Music; nephews, Josh Watson and Hershel Watson; one great-niece, Alexi Music; and many special friends. 

A Celebration of Hershel’s life will be held in the chapel of Pikeville Funeral Home on Sunday, December 30, at 1 p.m. CST with Pastor Hershel Watson officiating. Burial will be in the Myers Cemetery.

Pikeville Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
