Floy Faris Culpepper, 94, of Hixson, died on Sunday, December 30, 2012.  

Floy was the wife of the late Norman Culpepper. Floy was a longtime member of Red Bank Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She loved her family, gardening, nature, reading and needlework. She was a much-loved Nana. 

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Blanche Carney; two brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include her daughters:  Carolyn (Johnny) Parker of Soddy Daisy, Jane Ingram of Alamo, Tn., and Connie (Tom Brittingham) Culpepper of Nashville; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 1, in Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Reverend Forrest Prosser officiating.  

Visitation is from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace, 877-3524.
