Wednesday, February 01, 2012

Safelite AutoGlass, the nation’s largest provider of vehicle glass repair and replacement services, has opened a store at 4823 Bonny Oaks Dr.

The new 4,000-square-foot facility offers large, comfortable customer waiting areas and allows Chattanooga-area customers to schedule more same- or next-day appointments; however, they may still opt for mobile service as well, officials said.

David Danielson was named store manager. He has been in the industry for 24 years. For the last five years, he served as the technician and service manager at Safelite’s Jackson, Miss.

market. He currently oversees a staff of five employees with the goal of hiring more in this year.

“We look forward to growing our presence in the Chattanooga community and serving our customers in a friendly and timely manner,” said Mr. Danielson. “Keeping people safe while they are in their vehicles is critical. Vehicle glass is an important element of a car’s structural integrity, and we are happy to perform inspections to identify any risky chips or provide a quote on glass damage.”

Both in-shop and mobile vehicle glass service appointments are available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
