Maynard Stevens
Maynard C. Stevens, 88, of Rossville, Georgia, died on Friday, February 10, 2012 in a local hospital.

He was a member of Cloud Springs Baptist Church.  

Mr. Stevens was a veteran of WWII serving as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army. He had worked in automobile dealerships in their service departments. He was a member of Ridgedale Lodge #660 F&AM and was an avid Alabama football fan. 

He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Stevens; grandson, David Hagan and two sisters, Mary Ann Marlin and Sandra Humble. 

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Stevens; one daughter, Tina (Gene) Wagner; one son, Marty (Deardra) Stevens; three grandchildren, Taylor Blevins, Wesley Stevens and Jill Huddleston; one great-grandson, Colden Gray Blevins; two brothers, Ronald Stevens and Donald Stevens; several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Reverend Matt Hall officiating. Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, February 13, at the funeral home.

Rodney Marvin “Roger” Dickey, 61, of Rossville, Georgia, died on Tuesday, May 15, 2012.  He was born in Chattanooga to the late Walker and Nora Dickey, and served in the United States Army. Virgil C. Thomas, 99, of Kimball, Tennessee, died on Friday, May 11, 2012.
