Evangelist Charles Edward Stoker, 72, of Rossville, died on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at his home with his family by his side.
He was born on October 1, 1939 in Menlo, Ga., to the late Martha Lucille Vaughn and Artie Lewis Stoker. Rev. Stoker traveled extensively preaching the gospel and saving souls for the Lord. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Lamar Stoker.
Survivors include his two sisters, daughter, Ann; son, Lamar; five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 15, at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Reverend Tim Ashley and Reverend Andrew Towe officiating. Burial will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
