Earls, Noah Richard Sr. (Cleveland)

Noah Richard Earls, Sr., 81, of Cleveland, Tn., died in a Chattanooga hospital Friday, February 10, 2012.

He was of the Church of God faith. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lew Courtney and Fannie Ethel Earls; one son, Noah Richard Earls, Jr.; nine brothers, J.D., Lewis, Courtney, Homer, Albert, Walley, Charlie, Luke and Sammy Earls; and one great-granddaughter, Taylor Danielle Blackwell. 

He is survived by two children, Ruby Pike of McDonald and Connie Watson and husband Wayne of Etowah; six grandchildren, Shaun Earls, Sarah Pike, Cassie Pike, Hope Watson, Dustin Earls and Clara Watson; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Andy Earls; and a beloved niece, Sherrel Mingie. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 15, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Everett Warnock and Pastor Ronnie Shelton officiating. Interment will follow in Earls Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Pallbearers will be Earl Pike, Jr., Stanley Earls, Kenney Earls, Elmer Earls, Mike Estes, Justin Case, Corey Zumstein and Paul Rey. 

His family will receive friends on Monday, February 13, from 5-8 p.m. and Tuesday, February 14, from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. at the Ralph Buckner Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.

Teen Killed When Thrown From Hood Of Car At Old Kmart On Signal Mountain Road

A 17-year-old was killed Sunday night when he was thrown from the hood of a vehicle at the old Kmart on Signal Mountain Road.
