Keep Commissioner McClure

Monday, February 13, 2012

As a resident of Hamilton County, I am very proud of our community. This is the first time I have felt compelled to voice my opinion on the District 3 Commission election.

I have known Mitch McClure for 10 years. In the prior years before becoming commissioner, I personally witnessed his selfless efforts to better this community. In his time as commissioner he has only added to his accomplishments for District 3.

Commissioner Mitch McClure is a dedicated member of our community and has donated not only countless hours but years of his time to ensure we have a safe and thriving community. Many years before becoming our District 3 Commissioner he has not only worked with members of the community, as Hamilton County Police chaplain, PTA’s, Dallas Bay Fire Department and worked with many of our area county public schools to help improve our children’s education.

Commissioner McClure has also helped to implement plans and programs that have enrich the lives of all of those who live in District 3 without expecting anything in return or personal recognition.

For example, in several District 3 schools, our children and teachers are now able to benefit from new computer technology and improved reading programs that will enhance the learning experience for each child. This was made possible by Commissioner McClure intervening and finding funds “without” adding more taxes or cost to the already over burdened school system. Part of this program was accomplished by Commissioner McClure adding money from his own commissioner discretionary funds. This greatly impresses me that someone in his position is an exceptional overseer of our tax dollars.

Commissioner McClure has a strong sense of responsibility to our District 3, but also to Hamilton County as a whole. He has been in the “trenches” fighting for us for years.
Experience does count.

Commissioner Mitch McClure’s unwavering devotion to his community over the years exemplifies his strong moral fiber and character. He is a trustworthy individual and is an excellent addition to our existing Hamilton County Commission Board.

Please keep Commissioner Mitch McClure.

Re:  Roy Exum: This Jerk Needs Stewarding I agree with Roy on every count. I have cried all weekend.   Plus he was totally unrepentant in the ... (click for more)
