Elect Marty Haynes To County Commission District 3 - And Response

Tuesday, February 14, 2012

Feb. 15 is the start of early voting in Hamilton County.  As residents of Hamilton County District 3 prepare to vote, I ask you to vote for Marty Haynes for County Commission.

Marty is a lifelong Hixson resident.  Marty has been involved in a variety of community- and school-related activities over the years. Currently he is president of the Hixson Kiwanis Club and the Hamilton County Pachyderm Club. He has been heavily involved in volunteer activities that have benefited our public schools and also to families in need.

Marty is a member of the Hixson High Hall of Fame for his efforts in community service. He is an active member of Stuart Heights Baptist Church  and serves as campus director at SHBC’s Chattanooga Campus.

Despite what others have said, Marty is strongly against annexation of unincorporated areas of District 3 into the city of Chattanooga.  He is for holding the line on county taxes while streamlining county government spending.  Marty wants to cultivate open and honest government by regular interaction with county residents.  He will actively work to recruit new businesses to the Hixson area and will work to improve student achievement and facilities in our school system.

As you go to vote, remember to vote for Marty Haynes.  He is clearly the best person to represent District 3 on the Hamilton County Commission.

For the meaning of true public service, look no further than Marty Haynes. I strongly support him.

I've never been to a debate, and I am not going to vote for someone because they are able to remember and recite from memory, the well crafted answers they came up with the night before.   Often times, candidates focus on attacking each other instead of influencing undecided voters on any ... Throw The Book At McConnell

Re:  Roy Exum: This Jerk Needs Stewarding I agree with Roy on every count. There is not enough punishment available to this man and his cohorts to give justice for all the magnificent horses he maimed and tortured.  That video was the most sickening thing I have ever seen in my entire life. I have cried all weekend.   Plus he was totally unrepentant in the ... (click for more)
