Hixson Council Explores Plans For Northgate Mall At Wednesday Meeting

The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce’s Hixson Council will discuss plans for development at Northgate Mall at its monthly meeting on Wednesday.

The meeting, sponsored by BankCard Solutions, Inc., will take place from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. at the North River Civic Center, at 1009 Executive Drive in Suite 102. Attendees are invited to come early and stay late for networking.

Delivering the keynote presentation will be Alan Lebovitz and Katie Reinsmidt, who serve as senior vice president of asset management for CBL & Associates and vice president of investor relations for CBL & Associates Properties, Inc.

, respectively.

The meeting will also feature local Northgate restaurants in “A Taste of Northgate,” where participating eateries will provide samples from their menus.

“Northgate Mall is a staple in our community, and I’m eager to learn about what developments are on the horizon,” said Hixson Council President Tammy Zumbrun. “The Hixson Council is excited to help our area businesses stay informed about current and future developments while also marketing and promoting the restaurants within Northgate.”

The Hixson Council meetings, which take place the third Wednesday of each month, are open to Chattanooga Chamber members and non-members. Meetings cost $10.

Teen Killed When Thrown From Hood Of Car At Old Kmart On Signal Mountain Road

A 17-year-old was killed Sunday night when he was thrown from the hood of a vehicle at the old Kmart on Signal Mountain Road.
