Albert C. Kiser, 102, of Chattanooga, died on Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, surrounded by family.
He was born on Dec. 27, 1909, in Somerset, Ky. to the late Albert and Ethel Kiser.
He retired from TVA after 35 years, was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church for 63 years and member of the Fellowship Class. He was a member of Hill City Masonic Lodge #603 F&AM.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Kathleen C. Kiser; brothers: William J. Kiser, Eugene L. Kiser, Lt. Col. George E. Kiser; and sister, Delores F. Kiser.
Survivors are his sister, Ruth K. Wiseman, Loraine, Oh.; daughters: Jane B. (Neal) Parker and Bettye J. York, Chattanooga, Carolyn K. Campbell, Nashville; sons, Albert C. (Jenny) Kiser, Chattanooga and William C. Belcher, Baltimore, Md.; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, and 1-2 p.m. on Friday, February 17 at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday at Lane Funeral Home with Reverend Bert Jones officiating. Burial is in Hamilton Memorial Gardens with his grandsons serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Fellowship Class.
