One of five persons charged in connection with the downtown kidnapping of a restaurant employee has pleaded guilty.
Quintez "Tez" Bulloch was charged with aggravated kidnapping, aggravated robbery, conspiracy to commit aggravated kidnapping and conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery. He pleaded guilty to the reduced charge of facilitation of aggravated robbery.
Sentencing by Criminal Court Judge Rebecca Stern is set for April 23.
Bulloch, 21, of 4601 Shawhan Road, is being held on bonds totaling $133,000.
Police said Bulloch helped pawn items taken from victim.
Mr. Chunn was placed in the trunk of his car at gunpoint by three men while walking from Buffalo Wild Wings on Market Street to a parking lot at 2nd and Walnut.
He was held in the trunk of his car for 10 hours before finally being released. A number of items were taken from his home.
Police charged Christopher Turner, Richard Hunt, Jr., and Jeffery McClendon, Jr., with carrying out the kidnapping. Police said Twain Jackson was involved in pawning items taken from the victim.
Turner's case is set for May 9 and Hunt's June 16. McClendon is due in court April 10. The court date for Jackson is March 22.
Jackson said Bulloch helped with pawning the items and knew about the victim being held in the trunk.
