During the week of Feb. 10-16, officers and detectives answered 1,460 calls, according to Sheriff Phil Summers of the Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office. 64 were booked on a total of 146 counts. The violations included both misdemeanor and felony charges and were as follows:

Sheriff Summers reported that in addition to answering 1,460 calls, the following felony arrests were made.

Shawn Wesley Burkhart, age 20, of 1311 E Sherry Drive Rossville, GA was arrested February 10, 2012 for Theft by Conversion and Hold for Walker County Sheriff’s Office. Burkhart was released on $5,000 bond and turned over to Walker County Sheriff’s Office.

Kimberly Kay Campbell, age 29, of 320 Cloud Crest Drive Rossville, GA was arrested February 10, 2012 for a Probation Violation. No bond has been set. Campbell remains incarcerated at CCDC.

Ricky Joe Sherlin, age 49, of 205 Colony Apartments A-5 Albertville, AL was arrested February 10, 2012 for Theft of Services, Financial Identity Fraud and Giving False Name or Address to Law Enforcement Officers. Bond has been set at $11,000. Sherlin remains incarcerated at CCDC.

Richard James Hill, age 23, of 300 Destiny Lane Ringgold, GA was arrested February 11, 2012 for a Parole Violation, Robbery, Theft by Taking, Criminal Damage to Property 2nd Degree, Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon and Simple Battery. No bond has been set. Hill remains incarcerated at CCDC.

Eric Dewayne Roden, age 35, of 1840 Old Chattanooga Valley Road Flintstone, GA was arrested February 11, 2012 for a Probation Violation. No bond has been set. Roden remains incarcerated at CCDC.

Rodney Allen Smith, age 26, of 4470 Long Hollow Road Ringgold, GA was arrested February 12, 2012 for False Imprisonment. Smith was released on $1,500 bond.

Bobby Gene Grant Jr., age 55, of 2103 B McBrian Road East Ridge, TN was arrested February 13, 2012 for Forgery 1st Degree and a Bench Warrant / Bond Surrender for Theft by Taking. No bond has been set. Grant remains incarcerated at CCDC.

Linda Diane Henry, age 33, of 1200 Crabtree Circle Cookville, TN was arrested February 13, 2012 for a Probation Violation. No bond has been set. Henry remains incarcerated at CCDC.

John Wayne McDowell, age 45, of 696 Indian Springs Road Ringgold, GA was arrested February 13, 2012 for Theft by Receiving Stolen Property and Burglary. No bond has been set. McDowell remains incarcerated at CCDC.

Starla Gale Ahrens, age 30, of 436 Red Bud Avenue Rossville, GA was arrested February 14, 2012 for a Probation Violation. No bond has been set. Ahrens remains incarcerated at CCDC.

Carlos LaMonte Biggins, age 45, of 6462 Murbut Road Lathonia, GA was arrested February 15, 2012 for a Bench Warrant for Probation Violation. Biggins was released on his own recognizance.

Joseph Franklin Gentry, age 49, of 110 Baylor Lane Rossville, GA was arrested February 15, 2012 for Criminal Attempt at Enticing a Child for Indecent Purposes and Possession of Marijuana Less Than 1 oz. No bond has been set. Gentry remains incarcerated at CCDC.

Andre Lyqua Smith, age 34, of 118 Reese Avenue Chattanooga, TN was arrested February 15, 2012 for a Probation Violation. No bond has been set. Smith remains incarcerated at CCDC.

William Joseph Timms, age 43, of 3100 Miller Road Howard, South Dakota was arrested February 15, 2012 for two counts of Theft by Deception, Forgery 1st Degree, Forgery 2nd Degree, Hold for Johnson County, Indian, Hold for Lafayette County, Missouri, Hold for Champaign County, Missouri and Hold for Callaway County Missouri. Bond has been set at $17,000. Timms remains incarcerated at CCDC.

Ryan Benjamin Goldberg, age 34, of 880 Neal Drive Rossville, GA was arrested February 16, 2012 for five counts of Entering an Automobile. No bond has been set. Goldberg remains incarcerated at CCDC.

Timothy Robert Groves, age 35, of 1105 Emerson Street Rossville, GA was arrested February 16, 2012 for Possession of Schedule II Drugs, Possession of Schedule III Drugs, Possession of Marijuana Less Than 1 oz., Driving on Revoked or Suspended License and Seatbelt Violation. Groves was released on $15,000 bond.

Eric Bernard Orourke, age 24, of 7 Taylor Street Rossville, GA was arrested February 16, 2012 for Possession of Schedule III Drugs, Theft by Shoplifting, Drugs to be kept in Original Container and Obstruction or Hindering Law Enforcement Officers. Bond has been set at $11,500. Orourke remains incarcerated at CCDC.

Rayford Bobby Phillips Jr., age 37, of 1914 E 31st Street Chattanooga, TN was arrested February 16, 2012 for Possession of Schedule II Drugs. No bond has been set. Phillips remains incarcerated at CCDC.

Leta Katherine Sanders, age 38, of 93 Timothy Drive Ringgold, GA was arrested February 16, 2012 for Possession of Schedule II Drugs. Bond has been set at $4,500. Sanders remains incarcerated at CCDC.

Kaylyn Marie Simmons, age 24, of 880 Neal Drive Rossville, GA was arrested February 16, 2012 for five counts of Entering an Automobile. No bond has been set. Simmons remains incarcerated at CCDC.


Filming Gets Underway At Engel Stadium On Major Motion Picture Starring Harrison Ford

Filming began Monday morning at Engel Stadium on a major motion picture starring Harrison Ford. Hundreds of Chattanoogans also had cameo roles. The local "extras" parked early this morning at Finley Stadium and went in CARTA buses to the filming site. A host of extras dressed in 1940s garb got off the buses.
