The Chattanooga Airport saw boardings increase more than eight percent in January over the same month last year.
Cargo shipments in and out of the airport increased by more than 200 percent in January.
Airport officials attributed the growth to continued strength in the regional economy.
"Local businesses continue to grow, creating demand for aviation services in Chattanooga," said Terry Hart, interim president and CEO of the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport Authority.
"We continue to focus on providing for the commercial aviation, corporate aviation and air cargo needs of our community."
