Problems At The Driver's License Center - And Response (2)

Wednesday, February 22, 2012

My daughter went to the new driver's licence center in Red Bank the other day to get her licence renewed.  She got there at 10 a.m. and took a number to be waited on.  They finally called her number at 3:50 p.m.

So, in addition to having to look for what can only be described as a hidden building, well off the highway, that one has to be standing directly in front of to even see what the building is, expect to have to wait.

I faced the same problem Rod Dagnan's daughter had when I moved to Tennessee 7 years ago in trying to obtain a drivers license. Then someone suggested I go to the Jasper  Drivers License office as one is not required to obtain a license in the county in which they reside. I took the short drive to Jasper and had a license in about 10 minutes.

My daughter also went to the Red Bank Driver’s License center last week to change her license to unrestricted and was there only for about one hour. But also last month took my 16 year old for her license and was there maybe 1½ hours. I would have been asking someone if they forgot about me..

It is hard to locate on Dayton Blvd..We drove past it several times and then realized were it was. Signs would be very helpful..

Debates Don't Decide Leadership Ability

I've watched how some in the media have attacked Scottie Mayfield for not debating. I've never been to a debate, and I am not going to vote for someone because they are able to remember and recite from memory, the well crafted answers they came up with the night before.   Often times, candidates focus on attacking each other instead of influencing undecided voters on any ... Throw The Book At McConnell

Re:  Roy Exum: This Jerk Needs Stewarding I agree with Roy on every count. There is not enough punishment available to this man and his cohorts to give justice for all the magnificent horses he maimed and tortured.  That video was the most sickening thing I have ever seen in my entire life. I have cried all weekend.   Plus he was totally unrepentant in the ... (click for more)
