Reese Veltenaar Of Acumen Wealth Advisors To Speak At TBA Forum

Reese Veltenaar of Acumen Wealth Advisors in Chattanooga will speak at the Tennessee Bar Association’s annual estate planning forum in Nashville on Friday.

He will speak to approximately 100 attorneys on trusts relative to charitable giving. 

Mr. Veltenaar holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Florida and a master’s in accounting from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga as well as a Series 7 license (general securities license).

He is an honors graduate of Cannon Trust School.

He is a designated CFP (certified financial planner) and a CTFA (certified trust and financial advisor). He is a member of the Chattanooga Estate Planning Council as well as the Chattanooga Planned Giving Council. He also serves as a foundation board member for Hospice of Chattanooga.

Mr. Veltenaar has over 10 years’ experience in investment management, insurance, tax planning, estate planning, business succession planning and executive pay structures.

Acumen Wealth Advisors opened in January on Chestnut Street.

Teen Killed When Thrown From Hood Of Car At Old Kmart On Signal Mountain Road

A 17-year-old was killed Sunday night when he was thrown from the hood of a vehicle at the old Kmart on Signal Mountain Road.
