Kevin Martin, 41, of Hixson, died on Monday, February 21, 2012 in a local hospital.  

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Martin and Arney and Pauline Choate.  

Survivors are his sons, Dillon and Brian Martin; father, Lamar Martin; mother, Brenda Martin and brother, Reece Martin. 

Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. on Thursday, February 23, with a graveside service at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 24, at Chattanooga Memorial Park.

Mark “Mike” Manley Crandall, 75, of Soddy Daisy, died on May 21, 2012. Mike moved to Chattanooga in 1967. He worked for various fastener companies until he opened his own company in 1976, Bolts & Nuts, Inc. Mike retired in March of 2006. Teen Killed When Thrown From Hood Of Car At Old Kmart On Signal Mountain Road

A 17-year-old was killed Sunday night when he was thrown from the hood of a vehicle at the old Kmart on Signal Mountain Road.
