NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Driver David Reutimann will be returning to his NASCAR roots when he makes his debut with the RBR Enterprises No. 92 BTS Tire and Wheel Distributors/fleetHQ.com Chevrolet Silverado team in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.  The NextEra Energy Resources 250 at Daytona International Speedway is the Camping World Series opener.

Reutimann is no stranger to Daytona International Speedway. He has three career starts at the track in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series with two ninth-place finishes as well as six NASCAR Nationwide Series starts with his best finish being twelfth.

Reutimann also has ten Sprint Cup starts at the Daytona 2.5 mile oval track with a best finish in the top five.

With the series gearing up for green flag racing in 2012 the veteran driver says that it’s a challenging process but that being with a good team in the Camping World Truck Series helps.

“The truck series is where I got my start. It's a very competitive series and I am thrilled to have this opportunity to run some races with a good team that is in the process of building. There is definitely the potential to run well (at RBR Enterprises). I wouldn't have accepted this opportunity if I didn't believe that. It's going to be a challenge, but I like the fact that they are committed to bringing the best piece to the track at the races we run instead of taking less than our best to every race.”

Crew chief Jason Overstreet is looking forward to working once again with Reutimann. The two were both at Darrell Waltrip Racing from 2004-2006. "Having worked with David and having a great working relationship with him definitely flattens the learning curve. Driver-crew chief communication is one of the most important things to being successful in this business and we have that part down."

With a working relationship in place Overstreet thinks coming out of the gates at the beginning of the season is important. “We are anticipating a strong run out of the box to give the team momentum for the rest of the season. We want to show folks what we are capable of and get some support to run the entire schedule.”

The RBR team will run 12-13 of the season's 22 races, including the first three at Daytona, Martinsville and Rockingham. The goal is to bring on added sponsors as well as adding races to the schedule.

Owner Ricky Benton says that the hard work and hours that the team is putting in should pay off. “Jason and the guys preparing the truck for Daytona have definitely been putting in some overtime. With all the progress that we have made since Martinsville last October, I think we are in a position to run up front consistently and compete for wins.”
