Keep Mitch McClure

Wednesday, February 29, 2012

This year’s elections are of the utmost importance to the future of not only our country, but of Hamilton County as well.  Being life-long residents of Hixson, and being extremely involved in the schools, recreational parks and the community, we have seen so many good things happening in our area.

We hope to encourage District 3 voters to support Mitch McClure in his efforts to keep the County Commissioner seat.  He has done so much for our schools, in particular, and has even implemented a “matching funds” program so that each group requesting funds has to roll up their sleeves and pitch in, too.

As parents, it is refreshing to know that our local commissioner cares enough to help instill values like responsibility and perseverance in our children as well as the dignified way he is running his campaign: respectfully.

Replacing Commissioner McClure at this point would result in a tremendous setback for the Hixson community to “start over” again with a new commissioner.  He has worked very hard this past year with all Hamilton County residents’ best interest at heart.  He is an honest, hard-working, true public servant.

If you haven’t already voted, please consider voting for Mitch McClure; let’s work together to ensure a true sense of community for District 3.
