Charlie Ed Moore, Jr., 70, of Chattanooga, died on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at his residence. 

He was a member of the Church of Christ.  He was employed by U.S. Pipe and later retired from Seaboard Farms. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Moore, Sr.; mother, Betty Moore Robinson; and stepfather, Cleveland Robinson. 

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Moore; children, Cassandra (James, Jr.) Woods, Charlene Moore and Rosonia (Christopher) Burton; stepchildren, Katrina Haney, Galandous (Jessica) Brooker, II, Lyla Brooker and Jason Brooker; sixteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Frances Davis, Pauline Williams and Annie Moore all of Chattanooga; brothers, Coy (Carlene) Moore of Huntsville, Ala., Paul (Arlene) Moore of North Carolina, Harold Moore of Huntsville, and Daryl (Juliett) Moore of Chattanooga; stepsister, Mary Hurst; stepbrothers, Robert Rogers and Chester Rogers of Huntsville; a host of aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. 

The body will lie in state on Saturday, February 4, after 1:30 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. 

Funeral services will be Sunday, February 5, at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel with Pastor Charles Ford officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
