7th Annual Black History Heritage Concert Is At Highland Park Baptist Feb. 25

Minister Marcellus Barnes and Sounds of Unity present the seventh annual Black History Heritage Concert on Feb. 25, at 6 p.m.

The worship and praise service will we celebrate black history and heritage in song, dance and drama. Pastor Harold K. Lester of Orchard Knob Missionary Baptist Church will be honored with the Trailblazer award.  

Special guest Grammy and Stellar nominated James Bignon is best known for his Billboard Gospel Chart hit recordings “God Is Great”, “On The Other Side of Through”, “What a Mighty God We Serve”, “How Excellent Is Thy Name” and others. 

The concert will be at Highland Park Baptist Church, 1907 Bailey Ave., and is free. Doors will open at 5 p.m.
