Jane Ann Evans, 71, of Delano, Tn., died Thursday, February 2, 2012 in a local health care facility.

She was a lifetime member of Hiwassee Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Calhoun High School Class of 1958. She was a seamstress for many years. 

Mrs. Evans was the daughter of the late Edgar Moore and Mary Bell Alloway Moore; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Evans; one sister, Betty Thomas; and two brothers, J.L. Moore and Billy Moore. 

Survivors include her three children, Edgar Daniel Evans and G. Mark Evans and wife Susan all of Delano and Carrie Davis and husband Robbie of Bessemer City, N.C.; five grandchildren, Cassandra Nicole Evans, Emily Mary Evans-Fugate, Divonna Shae Presley, Christopher Brett Presley and Savannah Danielle Davis; two sisters, Dean Orr of Charleston and Ruby Cartwright of Cleveland; three brothers, John Moore, Glen Moore and Tom Moore all of Calhoun; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 5 at the Hiwassee Baptist Church with Pastor Bill Sneed, Pastor Guinn Green and honorary minister Jim Plumbley officiating. Interment will follow in Hambright Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Michael Liner, Charles Liner, Randy Liner, Josh Liner, Dakota Casteel, Ricky Orr and Taylor Orr will be serving as pallbearers. 

Her family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, February 4 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.

Charlotte Lively Johnson, long-time Chattanoogan, died May 18 at 103 years of age.  She was born Sept. 27, 1908 in Prineville, Oregon, daughter of Fletcher and Annie (Arnold) Lively.
