Gilbert Allen “Buddy” Handley, 74, of Dalton, Ga., died Wednesday February 1, 2012.

He was the son of the late John and Dottie Handley; and was also preceded in death by his brother, Donald Handley; and son, Antonio Handley.

Buddy is survived by his wife, Karen Elaine Handley of Dalton; sister, Betty Sims of Smithville, Tn.; children, Angela Pelfrey of Crossville, Anthony Handley of Rocky Face, Antressa and Kevin Aldridge of Las Vegas, Andrew and Stephanie Handley of McDonough, Ga. and Anita and Albert Cintron of Douglasville, Ga.; step-daughter, Andrea Trudewind of Douglasville, Ga.; grandchildren, Timothy Handley, Keyton Cintron, Kyle Cintron, Kailey Aldridge, Tabitha Handley, Mark Jones and Deborah Bilbrey; several great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 4 at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Joe Cochran officiating. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Friday, February 3 from 4 -8 p.m.

Love Funeral Home, 1402 N. Thornton Ave., Dalton (across from Hamilton Medical Center) is in charge of arrangements.

Charlotte Lively Johnson, long-time Chattanoogan, died May 18 at 103 years of age.  She was born Sept. 27, 1908 in Prineville, Oregon, daughter of Fletcher and Annie (Arnold) Lively.
