Air Force Veteran Worked For Kroger Company For Many Years

Jack Wall, 82, of Rossville, died peacefully on Friday, February 3, 2012. 

Mr. Wall was born January 31, 1930 and was the only child of the late Chester and Gertrude Wall. Jack served in the U.S. Air Force from 1949 – 1952 and worked for The Kroger Company for many years before retiring in 1988.  

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Jonathan Wall. 

He is survived by his wife, Joanne Elizabeth Wall, of 61 years; sons, Frank Wall and wife Faye Wall, Wayne Wall and wife Kim Wall of Kennesaw, Ga., and Ken Wall and wife Darla Wall of Ft. Myers, Fla.; grandchildren, Shawn Wall, Christie Aloneftis, Angela Gallego, Mandy Wall, Amy Wall, and Emily Wall; great-grandchildren, Eric Aloneftis, Abby Wall, and Ayden Wall. 

Graveside services will be held on Monday, February, 6, at 2:30 p.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Reverend Patrick Cooper of Lakeview First Baptist Church officiating and full military honors.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 6,  from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville.
