Sa’Mora De’Shaun Lingo died on February 1, 2012. 

All who knew her were loved and blessed by the experience. She was affectionately called “Lamora” by everyone. Her beautiful smile will always be with us.

Those who preceded Lamora in her homegoing include her grandfather, James Edward Barbee; great-grandparents, Samuel and Pearlie Mae Lingo, Katie Mae Barbee, Claude W. Washpon and Rayfield Green.

LaMora is survived by and will be greatly missed by her loving mother, Tiffany LaShaun Washpon and her father, Samuel De’Juan Lingo; brother, DeAngelo Jamal Washpon; sisters, Takayla Renee’ Washpon and Sa’Miya De’Shae Lingo; grandmothers, Marilyn Thompson and Tawana F (Keshawn) Woods; great-grandmothers, Dorothy Mae Wigfall and Myrtle Lee Washpon; grandfather, Samuel (Kimberly) Lingo, Jr.; aunts, Chelsea B. Thompson and Imani Lingo; uncles, Melvin Wshpon, Ronald L. White, Keenan J. Benford, Cornelius Tumbling, Samuel Lingo; a host of cousins, other relatives and a special friend Nadine Fortson.

Funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Andrew J. Bullard in the chapel on Saturday, February 11, at noon. Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.

The body will lie in state after noon on Friday, February 10, with the family receiving friends from 6–7 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
