Brown, Luellen (Tunnel Hill)

Luellen Brown, 79, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, died on Wednesday, February 8, 2012. 

A lifelong resident of the Catoosa County area, she was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and a former employee of Sweetwater Rug and of World Carpet. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ezekiel and Lue Sendy Stapp Brown and two brothers, Joe Brown and Olie E. “Bug” Brown. 

She is survived by four sisters, Sarah Inez Jones of Ringgold, Mary Eslinger, Betty Brown, and Una Brown all of Tunnel Hill; three brothers, Paul Brown Wilburn Brown and Mack Brown all of Tunnel Hill; several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Gordy Memorial Gardens. 

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 10, from 3-9 p.m., and Saturday until funeral time at the funeral home. 

Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel, Ringgold.

Charlotte Lively Johnson, long-time Chattanoogan, died May 18 at 103 years of age.  She was born Sept. 27, 1908 in Prineville, Oregon, daughter of Fletcher and Annie (Arnold) Lively.
