Rebecca Mathis To Speak Sunday At First Baptist In The Golden Gateway

Rebecca Mathis, a student at The University of the South School of Theology in Sewanee, will be the speaker at the 11 a.

m. worship service Sunday at First Baptist Church in the Golden Gateway, 401 Gateway Ave. She will receive a Master's in  Theology degree with a concentration on ethics in the spring.  The church will be observing Martha Stearns Marshall Sunday.  Sunday school is at 9:30 and fellowship time at 10:30.

 

The youth will present The Gong Show Sunday, March 4, at 6 p.m.  The youth will display their talents to raise money to attend the Festival By the Sea, a youth choir festival.  Tickets for the dinner and show go on sale Sunday and are $15 for adults and $5 for children.





Signal Mountain Baptist Children's Choir Presents Program Sunday

The Children's Sing and Tell at Signal Mountain Baptist Church, 939 Ridgeway Ave, will present their spring program, "The Hallelujah Hop," this Sunday at 6 p.m. in the sanctuary. Moody's Lowers Erlanger's Bond Rating From A3 To Baa1

Moody's Investors Service has downgraded to Baa1 from A3 the rating assigned to Erlanger Health System's $172 million of outstanding bonds issued by the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Hospital Authority.
