History of Catoosa County DVD Now Available

The History of Catoosa County, a 6-episode documentary featuring influential historical events and places in Catoosa County, is now available for purchase.

The five-year project is produced by ferroMedia, a division of Ringgold Telephone Company. 

The 6 episodes include The Old Stone Church, The Ringgold Depot, The Whitman-Anderson House, The Battle of Ringgold Gap, The Native American History, and The Mission of Joseph Standing. 

With the help of sponsors like The City of Ringgold, Northwest GA Bank, Bec-Don, Weeks and Peters, Gateway Bank and Blood Assurance, Ringgold Telephone hopes to preserve the rich history that is ours in this county. 

All proceeds for this series go to fund The Evitt Foundation, a non- profit organization that promotes child welfare and education in the community.  Copies of the series are available at Ringgold Telephone Company. The cost is $15.00.

Head Of BB&T's Chattanooga Commercial Banking Operations To Plead Guilty To Making Fraudulent Loans

The head of BB&T's Chattanooga commercial banking operations has been charged by federal authorities with making fraudulent loans. Tracy Brown is set to plead guilty to bank fraud on June 4.
