David Laurence Cadwell, 66, passed from this life and into glory early Tuesday morning, March 6.

David was a longtime resident of Chattanooga, a Vietnam veteran, a graduate of Covenant College and a retired network analyst from TVA. He was deeply dedicated to his family, church and friends and worked diligently to keep these relationships strong. Most recently as a longtime elder at New City Fellowship, he was pivotal in helping to strengthen and expand the Celebrate Recovery program in our area.

David is survived by his wife, Arline, daughter, Christin, son and daughter-in-law, Carl and Kara, grandchild, Vivian, and sisters, Barbara Brandau and Carolyn Haines.

The family will be receiving friends at Wann funeral home on Friday, March 9, from 4-8 p.m. 

The funeral service will be held at New City Fellowship on Saturday, March 10, at 1 p.m. with Reverend Randy Nabors and other members of the Tennessee Valley Presbytery officiating. Graveside service will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.

Earl Dewey Quinn, 74, of Apison, Tennessee, died on May 18, 2013 at his residence.  Earl was an employee at Collegedale Caseworks with 34 years of service, a lifelong resident of Apison, and an avid wrestling and Nascar fan. Genella Hunt, 88, of Rossville, died on Friday, May 17, 2013 at a local health care facility.  Survivors include her husband, Donald C. Hunt, Jr.; four children; 10 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Services will be on June 1. Man Stabbed To Death After Argument

A Chattanooga man was stabbed to death after an argument on Friday night. At approximately 11 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a stabbing at 101 E 20 th St. where they found the victim, Alexis Lewis, 51, lying on the walkway with a fatal stab wound to his chest.
