Paul G. Meyer, 61, of Dalton, Ga., died Tuesday April 10, 2012 at Hamilton Medical Center.

He was formerly employed with the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Department.

Paul is survived by his sons, Christopher Meyer of Dalton, Chad Meyer of Chickamauga and Jacob Meyer of Dalton; grandson, Ian Meyer of Marietta, Ga.; mother, Louise Meyer White of Apison; special friend and former wife, Pat Hawkins Meyer of Dalton; sisters, Carol Kindred of Apison and Paul’s twin sister, Pamela McCary of Chattanooga; brother, Robert Meyer of Apison; and nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be Thursday, April 12 at 5 p.m. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Thursday, April 12 from 3-5 p.m.

The family asks that flowers please be omitted and memorials may be made to the St. Jude’s Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.

Love Funeral Home, 1402 N. Thornton Ave., Dalton (across from Hamilton Medical Center) is in charge of arrangements.
