Two people are charged with burglary after a traffic stop Wednesday on Meadow Lane turned up medications and jewelry stolen out of a home on Davis - Curbow Road in Bradley County.
Bradley County Sheriff’s deputies had been on the lookout for a yellow vehicle that neighbors described as being seen at the residence where a laptop computer, medications, and jewelry were taken on April 9. Patrol Deputy Darren Miller spotted a vehicle matching the description in the BOLO two days later on Meadow Lane and conducted a traffic stop.
In the vehicle deputies found several bottles of prescription medicine bearing the names of the victims of the theft and several watches.
The suspects are identified as Shane Edward Rogers, 35, and Shannon Marie Burchfield, 26, both of Old Fort. They have been charged with aggravated burglary and theft over $1,000.
Bonds are set at $50,000 and they are scheduled to return to court on April 19.
