High School All-American Madison Martin of Heritage High School in Ringgold plans to attend King College (Tenn.) in the fall to wrestle for the Tornado.
He will sign scholarship papers on Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Heritage High School library.
King College competes at the NCAA D-II level and the Tornadoes are coached by Nate Moorman.
Martin was a three-time state medalist for Heritage with a career record of 189-27 and helped lead the Generals to the 2012 state traditional team title.
As a senior captain, he was 55-6 at 126 pounds, area and sectional champion and state runner-up and won the McCallie Invitational.
A two-time All-American, he placed fifth at the USAW Pre-Season Nationals in the fall and sixth at the USAW Folkstyle Nationals earlier this month.
"I like the King College coaches, the school campus and I am excited to be part of an improving college wrestling program," said Martin who plans to major in secondary education and coach after college.
