Final Spring Theory Concert Is Thursday

The final String Theory concert of the 2011-12 season will be Thursday and will conclude with a performance featuring eight musicians and a musical dialogue with Patrick Castillo. 

The evening begins with the musical dialogue featuring composer, performer and writer, Patrick Castillo at 6 p.m. Then there will be works by Shostakovich, Dvorak and Mendelssohn performed by Erin Keefe, Meg Freivogel, Kristopher Tong, Sean Lee, Sunmi Chang, Maiya Papach, Daniel McDonough and Raman Ramakrishnan.

The String Theory series, created by Artistic Director Gloria Chien and presented by the Hunter Museum of American Art and Lee University, brings the best in chamber music to Chattanooga.

Woman Found Dead On Lovell Road; Police Looking For Terry Releford

A woman was found dead on Sunday morning at 8912 Lovell Road, and police are seeking a "person of interest" in the case. Deputies responded to that location at approximately 8 a.m. on a suspicious death. On arrival "deputies found a dead female in her 30s deceased from an apparent homicide."
