City Hosts Sweet Diversity Reception At GPS On April 26

The City of Chattanooga Office of Multicultural Affairs is kicking off its annual Sweet Diversity Cultural Dessert Reception series with the Districts 1, 2 & 3 event on Thursday, April 26, from 6-8 p.m. at Girls Preparatory School. The address is 205 Island Avenue. This reception is free and open to the public.

Sweet Diversity is a district-wide event where participants sample various desserts and foods representing their unique cultural heritage, as well as meeting neighbors of various cultures. Participants are also welcome to bring their favorite dessert or food item to share, along with the recipe. It is a fun-filled learning experience for residents and businesses, as they come together in a climate of celebration and understanding of the cultures represented within neighborhoods.
