St. Jude Dream Home Floor Signing Party Set

Local patients and major sponsors will sign well wishes to the winner of the St. Jude Dream Home on Tuesday, at the St. Jude Dream Home floor signing party. Shaw Floors, the sponsor of this event and new national sponsor for the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway, will be on hand for the event and other key executives. 

The grand opening for this year’s house, at 8151 Propeller Drive in the Georgetown Bay subdivision of Ooltewah, will be Saturday, May 12. The house will be open to the public for free tours Saturdays and Sundays from 12-5 p.

m. 

Visitors to the house can register free to win a $5,000 shopping spree at Ashley Furniture HomeStore. A limited number of $100 tickets for a chance to win the St. Jude Dream Home will also be available during the open houses. 

The house, constructed by Pratt Homebuilders, has an estimated value of $300,000. The 2,723-square-foot house includes three bedrooms, two and one-half baths, a whirlpool tub in the master bath, stone hearth and fireplace in the Great Room, hardwood floors throughout the main level, bonus room, and granite countertops. It will be given away on June 24 at noon. 

Other prizes include a $1,000 gift certificate, courtesy of Lisa’s Gold & Diamonds, an $1,800 artist print with framing from Reflections Gallery, and a two-night stay in the Penthouse Suite, courtesy of the Holiday Inn Resort in Panama City Beach, Fla.
