Gravley, Daniel Lee (Sevierville)

Daniel Lee Gravley, 30, of Sevierville, Tn., and formerly of Dalton, Ga., died Monday morning, April 16, 2012 at the U T Medical Center in Knoxville, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Daniel was born November 10, 1981 in Dalton; and was preceded in death by his father, Donald Gravley, Sr.; and a sister, Jessica Ann Houk.

Daniel attended Northwest High School and was an electrician with Swaggerty's Farm in Kodak, Tennessee. Danny was a cowboy at heart. He was a bull rider and was a member of the International Professional Rodeo Association (I.P.R.A.) and the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (P.R.C.A.). Danny loved country music and was a George Strait fan. 

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Regina and Mark Colley of Dallas, Ga.; fiancée, Christina Hall of Sevierville; sisters, Shasta Gravley and Haley Land both of Chatsworth and Amy Perdue of Tampa, Fla.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald Gravley, Jr. of Somerville, Tn., Jimmy and Rachel Gravley, Jason and Leaha Gravley all of Dayton, Jordan Colley of Savannah, Ga., Zach and Justin Land of Chatsworth and Justin Woodward of Dalton; grandmother, Evelyn Gravley of Calhoun; niece and nephews, Bayleigh Houk, Corey Houk and Dawson Houk; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Daniel Lee Gavley will be held Saturday, April 21, at 2 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Wayne Cofield officiating. He will be laid to rest at Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. Friday, April 20 and after 12 p.m. Saturday, April 21 at the Ponders Melrose Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.

A woman was found dead on Sunday morning at 8912 Lovell Road, and police are seeking a "person of interest" in the case.
