Thank You, Teachers

Sunday, April 22, 2012

I would like to shine a bright light on teachers and say thank you.  As a proud parent of a graduating senior, I would personally like to thank the teachers, special educators and administrative staff at Lakeside Academy, Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts, Loftis Middle School and Hixson High School.

Your dedication, encouragement, support and parental partnership has helped shape and prepare my son for the future.  The fruits of your hard work have produced a young man whose public school education has played a large part in his acceptance and scholarship to a prestigious college.

I hope that this public acknowledgement of your efforts will serve to motivate you to continue your hard work and know that 12 years from now, it will make a difference to someone else.  From my family, our congratulations to you for a job well done.
