Teen Suffers Bullet Wound In "Gang-Related" Shooting

Police said a teen suffered a bullet wound late Tuesday afternoon in a "gang-related" shooting.

At 4:52 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to the shooting at 2601 4th Ave.  The victim, 18-year-old Guy Wilkerson, was shot and was taken to Parkridge Hospital in a personally owned vehicle. 

His injury appears to be non-life-threatening, but he will be transported to Erlanger Hospital for further medical treatment. 

Investigators are currently working on suspect leads.
