Today, I feel a need to say thank you to a special friend and a person who dedicated his life to the service of his country, his hometown and his state by serving as a public servant.
I shall always remember his mischievous smile and his fun loving, happy go lucky side yet underneath all of it he was a man of compassion and integrity. He was a man of knowledge and ready to meet the needs of the court and of the citizens that he served.
Having worked with Judge Holcomb for some 20 plus years, he taught me many simple life lessons which I will always carry with me. And, I shall never forget the caring support that he has given to me through the years.
I just want to say thank you for your wonderful friendship, your service to the people of this county and for just being you. Thank you for the smiles, memories and happy times. I will miss you but my life is so much richer because you have been a part of it. And, I know that you would tell us "All Rise" and give praise for I am in God's hands now.
God bless you my friend, you will always be in our hearts.
