Edna M. Kilgore Peoples Stewart, 77, of South Pittsburg, Tn., died on Friday, April 27, 2012.

She had been a hair dresser in South Pittsburg and was preceded in death her first husband, Donald Jefferson Peoples and second husband, Paul F. Stewart; her parents, Robert Green Kilgore and Mary Molly Hass Jones; four brothers, Hardy, Howard, David and Robert Kilgore; and two sisters, Georgia Seeber and Nora Webb.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Donna J. and Billy Berryhill of South Pittsburg; two grandsons, Adam( Tristy) Berryhill of Oak Ridge, Tn. and Ashley (Laura) Berryhill of Chattanooga; two great-granddaughters, MacKenna and Madelyn Berryhill of Oak Ridge; two sisters, Betty Nelson of Cowan, Tn. and Linda Hale of Kimball, Tn.; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. CDT, Sunday, April 29, with Brother Steve Freeman officiating.Interment will follow in Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball. Pallbearers are grandsons, Adam and Ashley Berryhill, nephews, Denny Nelson, Dee Hale, Ray Case and friend, Gary Robertson. Honorary pallbearers are the rest of nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. CDT, Saturday, April 28 at the Tate Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.

Valetta Jean Heuser, 93, of Rock Spring, died on Monday, May 20, 2013 in a local hospital. Hayden Lamar Lasley, 60, of Hixson, died on Monday, May 20, 2013.   He was a longtime area girls softball coach for more than 35 years.
