Jerry Jenkins

Jerry W. Jenkins, 58, died suddenly on Friday, April 27, 2012.

Jerry was the owner of The Watchmaker at Hamilton Place and will always be affectionately remembered as the “watchmaker of Chattanooga”.

Jerry spent his life being a friend to everyone he met, and he never knew a stranger. He was a humorous and wonderful man with many talents, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Jerry would want us to rejoice in his life and focus on the numerous wonderful times he shared with family and friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Eunice Jenkins.

He is survived by his devoted, and loving wife of 30 years, Ursula Wright Jenkins, Chattanooga; a brother, Gene Jenkins; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was devoted to his parrot Gemini, and loved his bird as much as the bird loved him.

Jerry was a dedicated member of the Elks Lodge. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Chattanooga Elks Lodge #91 in memory of Jerry.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 2, from 4-6 p.m. at  Heritage Funeral Home,  followed by a short memorial service at 6 p.m. to honor Jerry’s life.

Visit www.heritagefh.com  to share words of comfort to the family.
