Langley, Carrie Beatrice "Bea" (Chatsworth)

Carrie Beatrice “Bea” Langley, 85, of Chatsworth, Ga., died Friday, April 27, 2012 at Hamilton Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

She was member of Mount Olive Baptist Church in Chatsworth and was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Thurman Akin; her husband, Charlie McKinley Langley; and her daughter, Ella Mae Langley Phillips.

Bea is survived by daughter and sons-in-law, Brenda Langley Souther and Bobby L. Souther of Chatsworth and Troy M. Phillips of Dalton; grandchildren, Sheila and Woody Mullins of Rocky Face, Michelle Souther Jones and Brian of Crossville, Shelley and Greg Hopkins of Rocky Face, Connie and Clifford Thompson of Chatsworth, Steve and Tracy Souther of Dalton; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Mathis, Bradley Mathis, Allie Mullins, Emery Mullins, Langley Hopkins, Analeigh Hopkins, McKinley Hopkins, Aimee Thompson, Michael Thompson, Mitchell Souther and Mallory Souther; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday, April 30 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Travis Martin and Brother Bruce Headrick officiating. Burial will be in Ball Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Talking Rock.

Love Funeral Home, 1402 N. Thornton Ave., Dalton (across from Hamilton Medical Center) is in charge of arrangements.
