Benchmark Hospitality International’s the Chattanoogan hotel has received the AAA Four Diamond Rating.
Officials said the Chattanoogan is the only full-service hotel in Chattanooga to receive the designation, and one of only 12 hotels in the state of Tennessee to receive the honor.
Lodgings at the Four Diamond Rating offer an extensive array of amenities combined with a high degree of hospitality, service and attention to detail, it was stated.
“We are extremely honored to receive the valued AAA Four Diamond Rating for the fifth time,” said Tom Cupo, regional managing director of the Chattanoogan.
“This award recognizes our commitment to providing excellent hospitality and a memorable experience for all of our guests. The Four Diamond Rating is also a wonderful way to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of our professional team members.”
In 2012, only 3.8 percent of the more than 59,000 AAA Approved and Diamond Rated lodgings and restaurants across the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean received the designation.
The Chattanoogan has199 guest rooms and suites, three restaurants, an IACC-certified 25,000 square-foot conference center with comprehensive meeting planning and audiovisual support services, and a spa with four treatment rooms, a steam room, sauna, fitness center, indoor pool, whirlpool, and patio overlooking the hotel’s courtyard.
