Andrew James Peace is the winner of the Tennessee State DAR Good Citizen Award.
Andrew was sponsored by the Nancy Ward Chapter NSDAR. He is a student at Boyd-Buchanan High School and has been an exceptional student in his academics as well as in his extracurricular activities. He has a 4.1 grade point average and is a National Merit Commended student .
His teachers describe him as bright, ambitious, inquisitive and talented with an enviable work ethic and attitude.
He is president of the student body, Key Club member and a member of the school band. He is also captain of both the football and baseball team. He is an Eagle Scout and his project for this honor was to build a bridge and walking trail at Audubon Acres.
Andrew graduates this year and plans to enter Vanderbilt in the fall to study Pre-med .
