Tickets On Sale For Dancing With The Stars Chattanooga, Featuring Jr. Martinez

Chattanooga is hosting its own celebrity dance-off at Partnership’s fifth annual Dancing with the Stars Chattanooga, presented by First Tennessee and NewsChannel 9, on Saturday, June 23.

Tickets are on sale now at www.dancingwiththestarschattanooga.com. Prices range from $21 - $150. The VIP reception is from 6–7:30 p.m. at the Mountain City Club and the show begins at 8 p.m. at the Tivoli Theater with an after-party to follow.

Not only does this year’s event have another great lineup of celebrity dancers, but Dancing with the Stars Chattanooga will feature hometown hero and season 13 champion of ABC’s hit TV show ancing with the Stars – Jr. Martinez. Jr. Martinez is not only a mirror ball holder, but is also an Iraqi War veteran and former star of the daytime Emmy winning show All My Children. 

Mr. Martinez calls Dalton home and will be speaking at the event about his time on the hit TV show as well his incredible journey.

John DeMoss – president and CEO of DeMoss Capital, dancing for the Sexual Assault Center
Anita Oaks Headrick – representative at Steris Healthcare, dancing for Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
Paula Henderson – community volunteer, dancing for Family Financial Counseling
Donna Knowles Killian – vice president at First Tennessee Bank, dancing for the Family Violence Center
Jay Robinson – real estate broker and owner of Robinson Real Estate Inc., dancing for Family and
Individual Counseling Services
Stratton Tingle – account executive at the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce, dancing for Building
Stable Lives
Scott Wilson – geadmaster of Baylor School, dancing for Youth Services.

Each local celebrity is paired with a professional dancer from the local Fred Astaire Dance Studio where they rehearse their routine in 15+ dance lessons over three months. In addition to trying to win the Dancing Champion mirror ball trophy for their event night performance and fundraising efforts, dancers also collect votes along the way in a quest to become the event’s Fan Favorite by asking people to make online donations in their name at www.dancingwiththestarschattanooga.com

The dancer raising the most money will win the Fan Favorite trophy and all proceeds will be designated to the dancer’s chosen program area. Voting will continue until Friday, June 22, at midnight.

CARTA Announces Memorial Day Schedule
