Carolyn Stilwell, 76, of Chattanooga, died on Sunday, April 29, 2012.

Mrs. Stilwell was a graduate of North Fulton High School and Auburn University.  She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, a Master Bridge player, a dedicated homemaker and a loving mother.

She was preceded in death her husband, Richard N. Stilwell, Sr.

Surviving are her son, Tommy (Pam) Trotter of Soddy Daisy; daughter, Lyn Trotter of Harrisburg, Pa.; stepson, Richard N. (Nancy) Stilwell, Jr., of Chattanooga; and stepdaughters, Patricia Ann Groeper of Minneapolis, Mn., and Pam Stilwell of Knoxville.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, and 12-1 p.m. on Thursday, May 3, at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 3, at the funeral home with Reverend Susan Butler officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park, Red Bank.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga (4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, Tn. 37416), McKamey Animal Center (4500 North Access Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37415), or  CADAS (207 Spears Avenue, Chattanooga, Tn. 37405). 

Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 404 South Moore Road.
