Jane Maas To Keynote AAF Chattanooga Luncheon

American Advertising Federation Chattanooga will welcome nationally-acclaimed writer and advertising pundit Jane Maas to the Chattanoogan Hotel on May 24 at 11:30 a.m., as this month’s AAF Chattanooga luncheon keynote speaker.

Ms. Maas will present her new book, Mad Women, a tell-all based on her own experiences with gender roles in advertising agencies in the 1960s and 70s. Mad Women is the funny true story of what it was really like to work in the sexist and sexy Mad Men era of advertising, covering subject matter like “Sex in the Office” and “The Three-Martini Lunch and Other Vices,” among others.

Ms. Maas is best known for her direction of the “I Love New York” program, which changed the image of New York City and revitalized its tourism economy. She also co-authored How to Advertise, which has sold over 150,000 copies and been translated into 17 languages. She has made several television and online appearances, and has dozens of interviews in newspapers and magazines. She is listed among Who’s Who in America.

Tennesseans To Get More Refunds As Result Of Agreement With Penguin Group Inc. To Resolve E-Book Price-Fixing Allegations

City Council Ad Hoc Committee To Study Moving Elections To August, Adding More Districts, Staggering Terms
