Gospel Concert Benefits AWANA Program May 19

One Accord Community Church in Red Bank will host a gospel concert fundraiser to support the church’s AWANA ministry. This ministry is 100 percent funded by  the church through donations. 

The concert will be Saturday, May 19, at 6 p.m. The concert features 2 Deep Within, Rhett Ouzts, Sustaining Grace, Calverys Blend, Dave Pace and R&R 4 Jesus. The concert is free and a love offering will be requested. 

AWANA is a national ministry for children which runs concurant with the area school year. AWANA helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. The programs offer an approach for evangelizing and discipiling kids in the church and community.

A recent national survey found AWANA to be as important to an alumni's spiritual foundation as all other church activities combined. Among alumni who participated in the programs for at least six years, 92.7 percent still attend church at least weekly as adults.

Each week, more than 1.5 million kids ages 2 to 18 participate in AWANA. Over 12,000 churches in the U.S. and nearly 13,000 internationally run AWANA programs.


St. Timothy's Holds Family Mission Camp
