The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, Flotilla 16-02 Chattanooga, will provide a Boating Safely Class on Saturday, June 9. The class will be held at the U.S. Coast Guard Station in Chattanooga at 3551 Old Harrison Pike.
The class sign in starts at 8 a.m. and class lasts until 4:30 or 5 p.m. Seating is limited and preregistration is required. The cost of the class is $30 per person which includes class book and lunch. Any Tennessee resident born after Jan. 1, 1989, must show the TWRA-issued wallet Boating Safety Education Certificate as proof of successful completion of the course.
An additional class will be offered by USCG Auxiliary Flotilla 16-02 in July as well.
