Donald Earl Pharr, 71, of Birchwood, Tennessee, died on Monday evening, May 14, 2012.

 

He was a longtime resident of Hamilton County and was owner and operator of Georgia Machinery Sales Company, Inc. for the past 42 years.

 

He was a member of Mt. Olive Ministries in Cleveland, where he served as head usher.

 

He was the son of the late Earl and Jessie Pharr.

 

Survivors are his wife, Faye Pharr;  daughter, Krista (Charles) Graves, Dalton, stepdaughter, Kristie (Steven) Perry, Hixson; two brothers, Gene (Kaye) Pharr, Charlotte, N.C., and Larry (Virginia) Pharr, Phoenix, Az.;  two grandsons, Joseph and Will Perry;  several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.

 

Services will be held on Friday, May 18, at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Gary Sears and Reverend Larry Pharr officiating. Burial will follow at Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park, Rossville, with Mike Brantley, Steve Robinson, Bill Rominger, Lawrence Mathews, Dave Hollaway and Donald Brown serving as pallbearers.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to The Tioaquin Ministries, Mt. Olive Ministries, 3522 Harrison Pike, Cleveland, Tn. 37311.
