10-Game Homestand Begins With The Huntsville Stars (Brewers)

Tuesday, May 15, 2012

While the Lookouts are currently on the road playing the Mobile BayBears, Chattanooga's team will soon be back in action at AT&T Field. Thursday, the Lookouts will embark upon a ten-game homestand over 11 days. The first five games will be played against the Huntsville Stars. Here are a few promotions to keep in mind during that series...

Thursday, May 17th (7:15): Home & Garden Night! The event will take place in the AT&T Field concourse, presented by The Home Builders Association of Greater Chattanooga.

This night will include over a dozen home and garden businesses that will be displaying their products and services. Many prizes and giveaways will be featured throughout the evening. Also, there will be fun activities for kids and great trivia.

Friday, May 18th (7:15): Fireworks! Our always-popular fireworks show will immediately follow the game.  Also, The Tennessee Division of Forestry and the U.S. Forest Service will join the Lookouts for Fire Prevention Night on May 18th. Smokey the Bear will be present to greet fans and throw out a first pitch. There will also be plenty of giveaways.

Saturday, May 19th (7:15): Breakin’ Bboy McCoy is back by popular demand. He's got smooth moves and fancy footwork. He's got clever, robotic dance routines that are unreal. And, he's got charisma and showmanship that everyone will love. The most entertaining bat boy in baseball: Breakin’ Bboy McCoy!

Additionally, it will be Military Appreciation Night. All five branches of the United States military will be present, and there will be a pre-game swearing-in ceremony for Army recruits.

Sunday, May 20th (2:15): Fans will have the opportunity to bring their dogs to AT&T Field for our Dogs on the Diamond event. Festivities will include a pre-game pooch parade, giveaways, and the ability to have your dog’s photo displayed on the video board (please submit photos to pintza@lookouts.com). Fans will be able to purchase an $11 combo ticket, which includes a $5 general admission ticket plus a $6 Pooch Pass. All proceeds from the Pooch Pass will benefit the McKamey Animal Care and Adoption Center.

SunTrust Sunday! Fans are encouraged to bring canned food items to AT&T Field to put in the bed of the Lookouts’ Dodger Blue antique truck parked outside the stadium. On SunTrust Sundays, each fan that donates food items will receive a free general admission ticket for that Sunday’s game. Tickets will be distributed on a “per person” basis and are subject to availability. The canned food items will be donated to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank.

Monday, May 21st (7:15): Hispanic Heritage Night! There will be numerous activities, giveaways, and vendors at AT&T Field to celebrate Latino culture.

Also, kids eat free! Children, who are 12 or under, will receive a coupon for a free hot dog and coke!
